You will be picked up from your hotel and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. It’s a long drive within a lunch stopover. You will go through different landscapes including tropical rainforests, savannah fields, and the traced hills of Kigezi famously known as the Switzerland of East Africa. Arrival for dinner and overnight at your camp.
After an early morning breakfast with your picnic lunch, take a short drive to the park for a briefing where you will meet your guides and trackers. You will then hike into the forest to a spot where gorillas were seen the previous night and track from there. The terrain is rough and muddy calling for physical fitness. being a tropical rain forest, it may rain at no notice hence need to bring with you waterproof clothing including zip-lock bags for cameras and film.
Dinner and overnight at your camp.
After breakfast, start a long drive back to Entebbe/Kampala with the memory of the great rare mountain apes. You will have a stopover lunch at the equator line and Igongo cultural center arriving late evening at Entebbe International Airport.
