11 Days Explore Kenya

This is the place to start in Kenya if you want a traditional route with a dash of safari and some relaxing beach time.

Lake Naivasha is where the route starts. Life is slow and easy here, and people spend their days boating on the lake and watching blazing sunsets while sipping G&T.

The Masai Mara comes next, where you may go game driving in picturesque settings, see elephants slogging on the grasslands, and spot large cats hiding in the shadows. Depending on where you stay, you can also do a walking safari or take a hot air balloon ride.

Next up is Kenya's stunning Indian Ocean shoreline, a stay at the Diani Beach.

Our representative will meet you at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for a warm welcome and briefing and later a transfer to your hotel.

Despite its unimpressive image, Nairobi offers a lot of fascinating activities, and if you ever find yourself there, you might even wish you had a few more nights to spend.

The majority of the action takes place in Karen's opulent garden suburb. A normal day might start with a visit to the David Sheldrick Trust's orphaned elephants, spend some time at the Karen Blixen museum (along with coffee and cake), and conclude with a giraffe "kiss" at the Giraffe Manor Center. We suggest hiring a driver to show you the sights and maybe including a supper stop at one of the new eateries. Nairobi is also one of the only cities in the world to have a national park on its doorstep that offers good game viewing.

You will be picked up at your hotel for a transfer to the Airport for a local flight to Lake Naivasha. On arrival, you will be met by our representative who will transfer you to your hotel.

Break your day with a boat ride and search for hippos and local birds to end the day, or go fishing (not available everywhere; let us know if this interests you). For a bush walk among the antelope, you can occasionally drive or take a boat to Crescent Island.

However, you may be in Naivasha to investigate Hell's Gate. Despite being the smallest national park in the nation, it boasts a striking, volcanic, and striking scenery! Although you can go on a day trip or a shorter drive, depending on where you are, most people come for cycling, hiking, walking, rock climbing, and mountain riding (guided or unguided). In terms of wildlife, you will primarily come across antelopes, zebra, buffalos, and some giraffes.

After breakfast, check out and transfer to the airstrip for a local flight to Masai Mara. On arrival, transfer to your hotel before setting up for your first game viewing.

The Masai Mara, the King of the Kenyan safari, is a must-see destination. Some of Africa's most breathtaking landscape is matched by its renowned wildlife, which includes big cats, buffalo, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and the well-known river crossings of the Great Migration from July to September. There is also a wide variety of activities to help you see it all.

All-day expeditions are typical, particularly during the Great Migration, and morning and afternoon game drives are the mainstays of a Masai Mara safari. To round off the experience, there's typically a mobile sundowner bar or a bush breakfast beneath a shade tree.

You will be transferred to the airstrip after breakfast for a flight to Ukunda for your stay in Diani.

Sand, water, and sun are usually a lovely mix, but when you go to Diani, the ocean is the true attraction. When the tide is out, a glass-bottomed boat or dug-out canoe journey will unveil the wonders of aquatic life, and the warm, gin-clear water is perfect for snorkeling. There are many PADI-certified diving schools along the shore for those seeking adventure, and deep-sea fishing is an option as well. It's an excellent place to learn how to wind- or kite-surf because of the just-right winds, but if you'd rather relax on the beach that's regularly rated as Kenya's best, that's okay too.

Activities can be planned through a watersports center, but the majority of hotels and resorts provide a vast array of in-house experiences. Simply inform us, and we will guide you appropriately.

After breakfast at your hotel, enjoy your last view of Kenya's most beautiful beach before you transfer to the airstrip for a flight to Nairobi. On arrival at the Wilson Airport, you will meet our representative who will transfer you to the hotel or JKIA for your onward flight.
